The Weeping Willow Tree is a fast-growing tree with beautiful draping yellow branches. A deciduous tree with a rounded crown, it will grow 30 to 40 feet tall.
Aside from the obvious landscaping uses, all willows will help with erosion control alongside creeks & rivers. Bees love them, birds like them & small critters (like rabbits) try to hide amongst them.
Each order will receive ten cuttings 9" - 10" in length with a healthy diameter. (I always add a couple extra!)
These are living cuttings harvested from healthy plants grown on my fully licensed, pesticide-free farm. A copy of my nursery license will be included with shipment.
***When I mail cuttings, they're alive, but dormant. I wrap the bottom ends in wet newspaper & cover this with plastic wrap to keep them damp. If they dry out, they'll die.
Some people like to wake them up & start rooting them in water before planting, but this isn't necessary & not recommended. You can keep them in your refrigerator to keep them dormant & keep the bottom ends damp until planting time.
When you're ready to plant, give the bottom end a fresh cut first. Water often & the willow will grow very quickly!
Shipping will be with USPS Mail.
Legally, I can't ship plants or cuttings to the following states: AK AZ CA HI NV OR WA If I receive an order with shipping to these states, the order will be cancelled & any payment received will be refunded immediately.
