Kentucky Colonel Spearmint
Mentha spicata 'Kentucky Colonel'

These are living plants harvested from healthy stock grown on my fully licensed, pesticide-free farm. A copy of my nursery license will be included with shipment.

Due to agricultural restrictions, I can't ship plant material to: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington State.

Kentucky Colonel is an easy-care, fast growing member of the mint family. The bees and butterflies love the blossoms and it's so nice to walk outside and pick a couple of sprigs for a garnish!

Spearmint plants are great at repelling mosquitoes!

You will receive 2 plants. They will be shipped bare root and their roots will be wrapped in damp newspaper and covered in plastic. When they arrive, make sure paper is still damp. Plant soon and give them a drink. They will grow so fast!

When your box arrives, open it immediately. Mint plants like full or part sun. However, if the temperature is super hot when planting, provide a little shade for the first couple of weeks while the plants comes out of transplant shock.

Feel free to mulch to help hold in moisture.
